Cisco’s second annual Cybersecurity Readiness Index is an updated guide that addresses the current global cybersecurity landscape and assesses how ready organizations are to face today’s cybersecurity risks.
- Only 3% of companies are adequately prepared for current cyber threats, with 2/3 at beginner stages.
- Anticipated cyber incidents: 73% expect disruptions in the next 12-24 months, with costs exceeding $300,000 for 52% of those affected.
- Overload on point solutions: 80% find multiple solutions slow down response times, with 67% deploying 10+ and 25% having 30+.
- Device complexity: 85% allow access from unmanaged devices, with 43% spending 20% of their time on company networks via such devices.
- Talent shortage persists: 87% face critical talent shortages, with 46% having over 10 unfilled cybersecurity roles.
